Today we will go for an excursion Sivasagar. The capital of the Ahom dynasty, Sivasagar is situated 60 km away from the Jorhat. Here we will visit the remains of the Ahom Kingdom. The other remains of the Ahom Dynasty include a man-made artificial lake created by Queen Madambika in 1734, Shivdol-the tallest Shiv temple in the world, palaces of Kareng Ghar & Talatal Ghar and Gaurisagar Tank, along with three temples.
Afternoon returns to Jorhat and visits local Jorhat – Cinnamora Tea Estate, Ladai Garh, Jorhat Gymkhana Club, etc.
On arrival check into Hotel.

Today you need to start at 08.30 am. Proceed for Nimati Ghat, the ferry point for Majuli Island. Upon reaching board the ferry for Majuli the biggest River Island in the world and seat of Baishnavite monasteries. Upon arrival, we will pay a visit to Satras.
After returning to Jorhat and proceed to Kaziranga National Park. Enroute explore Kakochang Waterfalls which is located about 25 kilometers of distance from Kaziranga National Park. This beautiful waterfall is located amidst maiden and unexplored nature’s gift. The remains of the historical Numaligarh can also be viewed from this place.
Later we will drive to Kaziranga. Transfer to a wildlife resort on reaching. On arrival check into Hotel
Have your breakfast at the Hotel.
Get up early for an elephant safari into the forest. Our representative will take you to the elephant riding point by jeeps. The elephant safari is the best means for wildlife viewing as the wild animals are not afraid of the elephants and it is possible to observe them from very close.
Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast, we will go for a jeep safari in the national park for wildlife viewing in the zone.
Afternoon return to the resort, then you can go for a birding trip to the Burapahar range.
Evening at leisure on own.

Transfer to Guwahati (200kms / 4hrs). Upon arrival check into Hotel.
Afternoon visit to Shrimanta Shankardeva Kalakshetra – a cultural institution in the Panjabari area of Guwahati, Assam, named after the medieval poet-playwright and reformer Srimanta Sankardev.

Then proceed to Kamakhaya Temple – is a Sakta temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas.
After visit – Umananda Island & Temple, Balaji Temple, Basistha Ashram, Guwahati Planetarium, etc.
Evening free time at Platan Bazar / Fancy Bazar for shopping.

Home to the largest population of the one-horned rhino on earth, Kaziranga National Park is one of India’s national treasures in terms of flora and fauna. Located in the state of Assam in North-Eastern India, its total area is shared by the districts of Nagaon, Golaghat, and Karbi Anglong placing it roughly at the center of the state. Approximately five hours by road from Guwahati, Kaziranga National Park stands tall as the epitome of successful wildlife conservation in India. In 1985, it was awarded the status of a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Lying on the floodplains of the mighty river Brahmaputra, rich vegetation covers almost the entirety of Kaziranga National Park. For the convenience of management and conservation, the national park is divided into 4 zones: Kaziranga Range, Western Range, Eastern Range, and Burapahar Range. One safari of one zone is allowed at a time.
